Joel Gerschman is an Associate in CMA’s broader team, having joined CMA in 2001. Joel is a leading coach, best-selling author and educator in the field of business management and leadership, drawing on his experience as a lawyer, his background in psychology, and over 15 years of experience helping thousands of leaders to drive positive change in their organisations.

Joel is widely-regarded as an Australian expert in the field of negotiation, influence and conflict resolution, having served as Head Lecturer of Negotiation and Dispute Resolution subjects within the Monash University Law Faculty, regularly conducting learning programs on these topics for many of Australia’s leading commercial and government organisations, and mediating numerous commercial disputes. Joel also spearheaded a major empirical research project with Monash University and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal to explore negotiation strategies.
