Our one-day Getting Past Conflict program takes a structured approach to you will lear conflict management. This workshop empowers you to skilfully manage high-stakes conversations. With our conflict management training in Melbourne, you will learn how and why conflict arises, how to minimise its impact, and how to manage it effectively.

We shift participants from giving into emotional tendencies in the face of conflict, to responding constructively, thoughtfully, and with purpose. The result will be more stable and longer-lasting workplace relationships, and more time spent problem-solving workable resolutions.

This conflict management workshop in Melbourne will enable you to:

  • Understand what conflict is and what causes it.
  • Initiate difficult conversations in a way that creates a safe environment for those involved.
  • Gain insights into their own response to conflict and how to manage their emotional state.
  • Respond constructively in the face of strong emotions like anger, frustration or disappointment, or when the other person shuts down.
  • Develop a more flexible approach to resolving disagreements and learn strategies for creating mutually beneficial outcomes.

What you can expect from a CMA workshop

Prior to Workshop

  • We’ll start getting to know you through a short online survey.
  • This survey will prompt you to think about your current experience and also inform us about what you’d like to get out of our training.

During the Workshop

  • We’ll engage you in a variety of activities; including group discussions, video analysis, self-reflection.
  • Targeted practice with the opportunity to receive coaching and feedback
  • A workbook containing a comprehensive set of notes on the topics covered in the workshop.

Post Workshop

  • We’ll support you to embed the skills that you’ve developed.
  • You’ll receive electronic copies of the templates used in the workshop
  • You will also receive reminders of key strategies so that you can keep them top of mind.
  • Exclusive access to CMA’s Alumni portal to help you continue your learning journey
  • Access to a free e-coaching hotline for 12 months with direct access to CMA’s experiences facilitators

Booking & Payment:

To secure your registration, full payment must be made within 30 days of receiving CMA’s invoice. Payment must be made in full prior to attendance of the workshop.

Cancellations & Deferrals:

Cancellations outside of 20 business days a full refund will be issued.

11+ business days - One deferral of registration will be issued if notice is provided in writing 11 business days from workshop date. Deferral of registration must be made into the next scheduled workshop. $250 deferral fee applies.

Substitutes

Registered participants may send substitutes via pre notification with a minimum of 24 hrs notice in writing to the following email address publicworkshops@cmaconsulting.com.au Please note* dietary requirements will not be met for substitute participants.

No shows

No refund will be given to registered participants who fail to attend the face to face or virtual workshop, except in special circumstances eg. proven illness. Upon sufficient evidence eg. medical certificate, one deferral of participation is granted for the next scheduled CMA workshop. In the event the following workshop date is not appropriate, or otherwise, alternate reasoning, CMA reserves the right to decline subsequent requests of deferral and to retain payment.

Unforeseen circumstances

If circumstances arise requiring CMA to cancel either a face to face or virtual workshop, CMA will refund your registration fee but will not be responsible for any consequential loss or inconvenience.
